One of the best parts of writing vintage-style fiction, is that hours of research on my favorite topics all count as “work”! I use Pinterest to organize my visual reference material, which means surfing Pinterest also counts as “work.” Vertically integrated, you see?

Here’s a delightful article I found while “working,” which describes General George S. Patton’s opinion of the English upper classes between the wars: Two Nerdy History Girls: Do English Gentlemen Make Good Husbands?

There seems to be a lively debate on the accuracy or fairness of Patton’s observation. What do you think?

And here’s my Pinterest board, so you can get a glimpse of the world of my work-in-progress, Mister Mottley and the Dying Fall.

If you like to “work” on Pinterest too, please friend me! I’d love to hear from you.
